What does it take to build a successful real estate business and maintain personal wealth? In my recent chat with the legendary Marc King, a 16-year real estate expert and the former president of Kellwe Williams, we discussed the principles behind real estate success and practical financial strategies.
He experienced difficult circumstances early on in his life until he found real estate as a way to shape his future. In his journey, he emphasizes that the key to wealth is more than just making money but helping others succeed. This belief is his reason for teaching agents more than how to sell homes but how to run their businesses like true entrepreneurs. This includes taking advantage of taxes and making it work in their favor.
One of the key traits he mentioned that a great real estate agent should have is being pragmatic. It’s about figuring things out and diligently understanding their market, maximizing their income, and focusing on long-term wealth-building.
