How is AI changing the real estate industry? Our industry is changing and for the past few interviews, one topic that constantly appears is the use of AI in real estate. Today, I had the pleasure of interviewing Blair Knowles, the owner and managing broker of Ridgeline Real Estate in Vermont and the founder of RAIN: Real Estate’s AI Network.

I first connected with Blair through a mutual friend, and after hearing about the innovative things she was working on, I knew I had to have her on the show. Blair runs a thriving independent brokerage of 25 agents and three admin staff, and after stepping out of production to focus on leadership, she’s turned her attention to something that’s reshaping the industry: Artificial Intelligence.

Blair’s approach to AI is not theoretical or filled with buzzwords. She’s focused on traction over theory, meaning real, tangible tools that make agents’ lives easier. She walked me through some of her favorite applications, such as Wispr Flow, Google’s Nano Banana, and Gamma, to mention a few. These tools save hours of work and money, allowing every agent to feel like they have their own personal assistant.

We also dug into how AI is changing the way consumers search for real estate professionals. And how to optimize your brand in AI search results to position yourself as the top local expert in your area.

Blair views AI as a leveling tool, not a replacement for people. She believes AI gives everyone leverage, especially those in support or administrative roles. Her advice to agents is simple: spend 15 minutes a day experimenting with AI tools, and follow one trusted source to stay current. As Blair puts it,

“AI doesn’t take jobs, people who use AI take jobs from people who don’t.”
