Who knew that basketball and real estate could come hand in hand? My latest interview with professional basketball player Donte “The Hammer” Harrison is an eye-opener on how you can balance different passions and create generational wealth with real estate.
Donte has been with the Harlem Globetrotters for 16 years and has been a licensed real estate agent for eight years, recently joining a cloud-based brokerage called LPT. Donte started with Globetrotters after playing basketball at Hampton University.
It was a dream come true for him to play professional basketball. But how did he get into real estate? It started with his desire to secure his financial future and create generational wealth. Right now, he has a diverse real estate portfolio, including 12 properties, and operating a couple of short-term and mid-term rentals.
For a long time, working in real estate has been a full-time career, but times have changed, and opportunities are endless if you break the stereotype of what a Realtor is.
